Insomnia in choleric and sanguine people

Choleric people are characterized by quick actions, strong and hastily arising feelings, which are clearly reflected in speech, gestures and facial expressions.

Sanguine people are distinguished by their liveliness, quick excitability and easy change of emotions . 

Insomnia their proceeds with noisy and emotional manifestations, accompanied by frequent outbreaks of anger and irritability. They are overwhelmed with negative feelings: resentment, anger, and jealousy. A minor fight or a little stress can easily cause sleep disturbances. These types of people often have nightmares, restless sleep, and fits and starts. Their sleep phases are often disrupted.   

To a number of reasons for sleep disturbance in choleric and sanguine people, you can also add their diet: abuse of heavy, fatty and spicy foods, as well as an increase in body temperature. To eliminate insomnia, they need: situations in which a surge of emotions occurs, a low temperature in the bedroom (about 13-17 degrees) with a room humidity above 50% for choleric people and below 50% for sanguine people. The design of the bedroom should be in muted colors, it is better to refuse bright lights: red, yellow, etc. They should pay special attention to bed linen. The bedding should not make them feel uncomfortable.   

Particular attention should be paid to airing the room. It is necessary to sleep in a warm season with an open window, and in a cold season with an open window and cover the window with thick curtains. Water procedures also help effectively – a cold shower or cool baths before bedtime. Water temperature in cold water is up to 20 degrees, and in cool water 20-33 degrees. Cold or cool baths have a tonic effect on choleric and sanguine people. They perfectly stimulate the functions of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, increase metabolism, relieve muscle tension and calm the nervous system, improve sleep.    

Choleric and sanguine people are recommended motherwort or valerian. These herbs have a relaxing effect on the body.

Poppy also works well for insomnia. Boil one tablespoon of poppy seeds in half a glass of water and take one or two tablespoons before bedtime.

Cornflower gives a good healing effect for nervous diseases. Two tablespoons of flowers are poured with a liter of water, and boiled over low heat, boiled down to half, insist and drink half a glass three times a day before meals.

Restful sleep will be assured.
